ABOUT THE EVENT

Come join us for CFMC’s first annual female partner competition, ATHENA’S THROWDOWN!! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, we have a spot for you with 3 different divisions, beginners, scaled, and RX!

Everyone will complete 3 workouts, and the top 5 teams in each division will go on to complete one final WOD. The top 3 teams in each division will take home prizes, with the top 3 in RX receiving a CASH prize! Every one that competes will receive a competition T-Shirt, regardless of placement.

Not sure which division you should sign up for? Here are some helpful guidelines in deciding:

RX: should be able to clean and jerk 95# in a workout, swing a 45# kettlebell, and jump a 24″ box.

Scaled: should be able to clean and jerk 75# in a workout, swing a 35# kettlebell, and jump a 20″ box.

Beginners: should be able to clean and jerk 45# in a workout, swing a 25# kettlebell, and jump a 16″ box.

We ask that you PLEASE partner with someone that is around the same ability level as you. If you choose to partner with someone that should be in a different division, please sign up for the more difficult division in fairness to the other competitors.

We expect this to be an awesome show of athleticism from ALL of the ladies in the area! You can expect for it to be on time, well ran, scores promptly posted, and most of all, FUN! It all starts with you though, so go on and get yourselves signed up!! There are only 15 spots available in each division, so make sure to get signed up quickly before they’re all gone!!
