ABOUT THE EVENT

Beat the Bracket has been specially designed to solve the flaws of typical fitness competitions. Bored of the typical fitness competition format where the winner is predetermined before the finals? Sick of seeing athletes put themselves in the wrong division?  Heard or experienced the sub-par judging from volunteer judges?  Want to look your competition in the eye as you are giving a 100% to beat them?

If you’re a beginner or intermediate (not regional) level competitor, and seeking a place to test your fitness abilities, then ask yourself: do you think you can Beat The Bracket? See below for details.

  • The competition is for intermediate fitness levels.

  • Each team will have two members.

  • Registration is capped at 32 men and 32 women teams.

  • There is no distinction between fitness levels during registration.

  • After completion of two preliminary workouts, the top 16 ranked men and women teams will be placed in the gold bracket.

  • The remaining 16 male and women teams will be placed in silver bracket.

  • The bracket rounds has teams compete head-to-head against one opposing team. The winning team advances to the next round.

  • As a team makes its way through the bracket the workouts will get more difficult.

  • Top two teams in each division will receive cash prizes.

  • All teams will have a minimum of three workouts and a maximum of six.
