ABOUT THE EVENT

Competition hosted by 3-time Olympian and Olympic Coach Michael Cohen

We’ll take the first 100 people who register. All ages and weight classes welcome:

Schedule:
Session Gender Weigh In Lift
1/School Age Boys & Girls(13 & Under)/8:00 AM/10:00 AM
2/Women Age 14 and Up 10:00 AM/ 12:00 PM
3/Men (Age 14 & up) 12:00 PM/ 2:00 PM

Here’s what you need to know:
You’ll do Snatch first (3 attempts), and then Clean & Jerk (3 attempts).
If you’ve never competed, no problem–this is a great, supportive event for newcomers.
If you think you’re not good enough, that’s bananas. Why not give it a shot anyway?
You don’t have to wear a singlet or weightlifting shoes unless you’re a USAW athlete (more details).
If you’re a USAW athlete, your scores will count–this is a USA Weightlifting sanctioned event.
The professional competition platform will be provided by Cohen Weightlifting.
The competition will be done in Kilograms, and all equipment is by Werksan.
The top 3 competitors in each age group and weight class will receive awards. That includes the Masters division, too (for example, the top 3 women in the 35 age group at 53KG will receive awards, etc.).
You’ll weigh in 2 hours before your session starts. That weigh-in is totally private (just you and a USAW judge of the same gender). The weigh-in is how you know which weight class you’ll compete in.
Current IWF and USAW rules will be followed.

ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
